So excited you are visiting with us today.
My name is Shannon Dudar and I co-own this domain with my husband, Steve.
Before I begin to share my inspiration and source of my creativity, I truly must thank my dear sweet friend, Tina Tena, who purchased the domain 'dudarsdesigns.com' for me.
When 'dudarsdesigns' was merely a thought and a twinkle in my eye, Tina believed in my work so much that she presented me with this Christmas gift: I am a proud owner of dudarsdesigns.com.  This certificate had an expiration date on it.  So, we knew we had to act upon it.  Now, all I had to do was learn how to create a website.  Sounds simple, right?  ha.  That was nearly 10 years ago.   Well, after a huge move across country from Washington State to Washington DC, and then another move to S.C., we began to focus on this website which makes this blog possible today.
Tina, I thank you and am so grateful for you, more than you will ever know.  I love you INFINITY!!
My artwork comes from the many different experiences in my life.  Many pieces come from the depth of my pain.  I am spiritual by nature and I am inspired by the energy of the ocean, the endless sky and graceful movement of the trees.
My artwork is about human emotion, it touches your heart.  In a soft whisper, it 'speaks' to your heart.
My designs are simple, elegant and meaningful.  They 'speak' to us because of their sentimentalism.
When I was around 6 years old, I was playing in the mud, making mud-pies.  There were pieces of paper trash near me.   As I played with the mud and piece of paper trash, my creative juices began to flow.  As silly as it may sound, it was at that moment, I promised God/Source/Energy/Higher Power, that I would transform trash into beauty. 
I certainly do not use trash to create my jewelry, I hand-select high quality materials.  However, what I do believe is that God/Source/Energy/Higher Power uses the nastiness (or trash, if you may) in our lives to break us open and allow us to transform that painful energy into something beautiful, with a spiritual meaning.
My wish for you is to happily browse and find which piece(s) 'speak' to you.  Each piece is custom-designed and created just for you. 
And remember, as you visit our website and are drawn to a specific line, it is because it resonates deep inside of your soul.
